The Trillium Trail is a joint project of the Dresden Horticultural Society, Catherine McVean Chapter IODE and Dresden Rotary. With funding provided by the Trillium Foundation, three major projects were undertaken:
a) an information Kiosk was constructed at the beginning of the Trillium Trail in Rotary Memorial Gardens, St.George Street in Dresden.
b) research was undertaken by Jeff and Marie Carter that identified locations on the Trillium Trail as historically significant. A walking tour with accompanying brochure was produced.
c) a 188 page hard cover book was produced. The book is titled "Stepping Back in Time, Along the Trillium Trail"
